Jim Clark is seeking the office of Commissioner in the Town of Kill Devil Hills because he feels that his knowledge in the business world would add strength and expertise to the Town Board.
Before moving to Kill Devil Hills some 25 years ago Jim left Ryder Truck Rental, his employer of almost 10 years to open his own Truck shop in Norfolk Virginia. After only 2 years he found an opening for employment on the Outer Banks and moved to the place he calls home with his wonderful wife Sandra.
In time Jim took a position with a large company as Department Supervisor of Contractor Services. This position put him right in the middle of all the new construction and remodeling going on throughout the Outer Banks. Being in this position for 8 years has given him insight into how the people of the Outer Banks make a living and enjoy themselves.
Being an entrepreneur and professional in the construction industry, and in the community, gives Jim the tools needed to keep our Town on the right track of fiscal responsibility and responsible growth. Through creativity and originality, set upon a foundation of conservative principles, together we will overcome our challenges and move forward to a bright future.
